Upper Moreland Township is accepting applications for the position of Code Enforcement Officer.
This position is responsible for administration related to building, construction, property maintenance, land development, sub-division and zoning codes and ordinances to assure adherence to specified standards of materials, workmanship and safety. Duties include plan review, issuance of permits, and performing inspections. The incumbent will work independently within framework of established policies and under the direction and supervision of the Director of Code Enforcement/BCO.
Requirements:
ICC certifications to perform all aspects of commercial and residential plan review and inspections in accordance with the Pa UCC; and a valid PA drivers’ license is required. 5 years’ experience as building contractor or in a position related to the enforcement of building and/or municipal regulations and 3 years’ experience in supervision, design and inspections is required.
