The Fire and Disaster Mitigation Program Manager develops, manages, directs, and implements the International Code Council’s fire service- and emergency management/disaster mitigation-related initiatives and priorities within their assigned geographic area of responsibility. The position reports to the Vice President, Fire and Disaster Mitigation. The Fire and Disaster Mitigation Program Manager assists the Vice President, Fire and Disaster Mitigation with developing and maintaining strategic partnerships at all levels of government, with non-governmental organizations, and the private sector.

The Fire and Disaster Mitigation Program Manager, working collaboratively with ICC Government Relations Regional Managers, develops, manages, and maintains relationships with building code officials, fire code officials, emergency managers, and hazard mitigation officers as well as departments, agencies, and organizations that oversee or engage in building safety, fire service, emergency management, and disaster mitigation activities. 

The Fire and Disaster Mitigation Program Manager drives the development, adoption, implementation, and enforcement of ICC codes and standards as well as the use of complementary products and services offered by ICC Family of Solutions (FoS) affiliates.
