I am currently reviewing an application for a partial pool code fence that connects the existing house with an existing chain link fence at a pool. The installation date of the existing chain link fence is unknown and does not enclose the pool currently. With this being known how have others handled connecting an new pool code fence to an existing non-compliant chain link fence that does not meet code? Any advice or guidance would be appreciated.
